Software Overview
1. MENU - The menu will show the options available to you including Home, Search, Decades, Genres, Playlists, History, and Online Requests. By selecting a menu item it will open up that view.
2. VIEW AREA - This is where the views will show up when you select a menu item. Find a song, and choose "Add Selected" or drag and drop into the request list (3)
3. REQUEST LIST - Once a song is requested it will appear in this list.
4. REQUEST LIST CONTROLS - Use move up, move down, move top, move bottm, delete, or clear to manage the request list items.
5. PLAYER - The player controls include Restart, Play/Pause, Stop, Next, and Stop After Track. The stop after track command will allow you to tell the jukebox to stop playing music after the next track, so that you can make an announcment for example.
6. VOLUME - Thie volume is along the top.
7. CHANGE COLLECTION - This button is what you choose in order to change from MUISC mode to KARAOKE mode.
8. RANDOM PLAY FILTERS & EXTRA CONTROLS - The current random play filter will show in the RANDOM box. The "ShoemakerJukebox.com" button will display advanced features, such as lock.
Random Play Filters
The current random play filter will be displayed in box 8. It will read something like, "Random: Alternative Rock". This means that as long as there are no requests (section 3), the jukebox will randomize from the stated Random Play Filter.
- If a request is in the request list (section 3), those songs will play first.
- If there are zero requests in the request list (section 3), then the jukebox will pick a song from the Random Play Filter (section 8).
- The jukebox will never stop playing until you press stop (in the player controls, section 5)
To set a random play filter
- Select a playlist, genre, artist, or other object other than a song using the menu and view (section 1 & 2).
- Choose the option that says, "Add Preset". (located inside section 2 on the right)
- Choose "Clear and add"
- Your new random play filter will be shown.
